October update

it has been the most beautiful fall here in north carolina. it has stayed warm and sunny - we've not had a lot of rain and now that the leaves are changing, it's like we live in a painting, it's so pretty!!

a few updates:
conference weekend
we enjoyed another great conference sunday with our friends matt & krista faulkner. their sweet twin boys, combined with eli, made for an entertaining morning and i'm fairly sure that none of us heard any of the talks.

eli loves being the center of attention and thought standing in the toy box would be a good idea

i love these sweet faces! **photos by krista faulkner**

grandfather mountain
last weekend we decided to go here. it was a beautiful day and was made more enjoyable because we got to share it with our friends the Bagozzi family.

triplets
i've been watching the little faulkner boys over the last few weeks so krista can do what she does best - make photo magic! they are super sweet kids and they play with eli really well. it's kind of fun to see them interact - they're about a month younger than eli - but all of their mannerisms and expressions and sounds are really similar.

cutie pie jonas

it's been fun to see what it might be like to have triplets. my hat goes off to all the mother's of multiples out there - it's a tough job!!

school pics

this year the school photos were pre-order...we had to buy the packages without seeing the photos. i thought that was lame so i kind of boycotted it. we are taking family photos this weekend and i'll have individuals of the kids done then. but here are the kids on picture day morning.

dylan
dylan's sleep study results were not good. he stopped breathing 18 times an hour, categorizing him as "severe" for his age group. while his tonsils and adenoids appear fine, the apnea is something that needs to be dealt with. he will be having surgery on nov. 5th to remove his adenoids, and he will have a tonsillotomy. he will also undergo turbinate reduction - basically widening the nasal passageways - and we will have his allergy testing done while he is under anesthesia. it sounds like a lot at once but we've been told his recovery time will be short. and after having recently gone through tonsil surgery myself i know the positive results will make him more comfortable.

say a prayer for him if you can.

OH my gosh 18 times an hour. Scary, but so glad you guy are getting it taken care of. Poor little guy. I did love the pic. of him with all his gear on.

Mari, looks so pretty in that picture. She is looking more and more like her Mama. I too think it is NUTS that you have to pre-order your kid pics without even seeing them. Whats up with that?

Oh, poor Dylan! I'll say lots of prayers for him!!!! I HATE the pre pay for school pictures but I do it every year cause I feel its my duty as a mother! Thankfully I've lucked out and every year they seem to turn out decent! And all those little babies are sooooooo cute!!! What a nice lady to watch after the twins so Krista can work her magic! Love you and miss you lady! Let's chat soon!

We'll pray for Dylan at our house, too! Poor little guy. Good thing you're on top of it all though and that he can get the procedures that he needs. I'm sure he'll appreciate being "under" for his allergy testing. That can be so painful for them.

You're a saint for being a mommy of triplets! I go crazy with even one extra. Fun that they are the same age and enjoy playing together.

Thanks for all the fun updates and pictures.
