...no, not my baby. phil's sister lisa is on her way to the hospital this morning to have her baby. we are anxiously awaiting the news that their baby girl has arrived safe and sound. another niece - we're so lucky!
i was telling the kids this morning about how poppi (grandpa) was watching their cousins so their mommy and daddy could go to the hospital to have their baby. they of course started talking about what "kind" of baby it was. i replied, "a girl."
marissa says, "i can take really good care of girls. if ours is a girl i will be able to take care of it. if it is a boy, i can't."
dylan says, "if ours is a boy i will be so happy and you will be SO mad!"
i think our kids will be happy with either "kind" but between them there is lots of competition all the time. it will be interesting to see who feels as though they have "won" or "lost" after our ultrasound reveals the "winner."
ding! ding! MARISSA vs. DYLAN in the world "under-8-light-as-a-featherweight" match of the century.
