six days

could february be over already? i mean, seriously, let's just get on with march.

on with spring.
on with daylight savings.
on with...IT.

february has totally sucked. when i cross off the last day of this month on my desk calendar, it will be a total of six days the whole month that my husband has been home.

six times he's slept in our bed.
six times he's parked in our driveway.
six times he's kissed his kids goodnight.

i know he's as exhausted as i am. i see how hard he works. i know he's ready to be out of a hotel and in his own home.

and boy am ready to have him home.

but until then...

serenity now!!

ps. i'm totally thankful that we have a job. i remind myself of that every time i want to complain...but a girl can vent from time to time right?

vent away! you can be thankful for what you have, but every once in a while you can complain about what you are lacking. it's ok. i don't even want to try and figure out how many nights my hubby was home this month... that would be too depressing.

:( My heart hurts for you girl. 6 days is pathetic. You are one strong WOMAN, Sister. At least you get midnight calls from the Glenns over here in Az. every once in awhile to keep you company. Love ya

That's 6 more times than we've had this month with Thomas! But seriously, you have every right to vent. It's always rough when you're doing it all on your own. I like to console myself with the thought that at least my husband isn't over seas in combat. I don't know how military families do it. Love you, Ang. Hang in there!

I like your ps. I'm not sure you will ever get used to Phil being away so much. And when you are used to it is when its time for him to not. Cute post - I agree - on with March!!
