"Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile." - albert einstein

ok, when i find a great resource for something, i share it. today, in my TIME magazine there was an article called:

now, if you're like me, you're probably thinking, "between my church duties, home/cooking/cleaning/laundry duties, school duties, taxi duties, and any other duties...i hardly have time for anything else!"

i'm only a mom of two, so i'm not as loaded down as some of you other moms out there, but i do have a husband who travels extensively and i am very busy with church and am involved with my kids and their schools.

however, lately i've been feeling like i need to do something more - whether that be starting a new career, hobby or SOMETHING to keep my sanity and make me feel like i'm still a contributing member to society, and not just a dutiful servant (as noted above). i loved this article because it gave me some great ideas and offered information on many volunteer opportunities that we can all be involved in.

i'm going to give one or two of these
21 ways a try and i want you guys to do it too (again, all you thousands of people reading my blog...hehehe). go to the article (if you want) and see if there is something more you could be doing in the life of someone else. let me know how it goes and i'll keep you updated on my service too.
i hope our giving spirit isn't just when the man in the red suit comes to town.
