Things are moving along with the sale of our home. The appraiser came yesterday and the inspection is scheduled for next week. Things seem right on track to close on March 15th.
We put an offer on a house two days ago. It is new construction and the builder is not willing to negotiate on the price. In fact, they were about to raise the price but were willing to still honor the current list price for us. Since it was just about the very top of our price range, we walked away.
We will be putting an offer on another home tomorrow. We hope this one goes through. It is also new construction but is completed and ready for move in. It is just what we need and has a full unfinished basement - perfect for growing into.
I'll be so relieved when we have a contract.
