i personally baked 24 of the 32 little cakes. we literally had a ton of frosting. like most activities, you're nervous if they'll be a success and you're so glad when they're over - but the effort was worth it!

mom - you take the cake!
i'm one of the activity day leaders in our ward. this year we had a party for the girls and their moms called "mom - you take the cake!" each mother/daughter team had their own cake to decorate and the girls had prepared ahead of time a short statement of what they have learned from their mothers. we had a little photo op set up when they arrived and we got some hilarious funny-face pictures of the girls with their moms. it was a really fun night.

clearly she's not impressed with my antics...
...but a little frosting on the nose took care of that!
