i stomped. i whined. i threatened. i stomped some more. and much to my dismay we ended up signing dylan up for t-ball. it's probably a rite of passage for every little boy, but any sport played on a diamond is so not my favorite. he wasn't even all that interested in it....at first. philip was adamant that he give it a try. i'd much rather watch the kid shoot hoops or pull flags.
i admit now it's kinda cute and he's having a really good time. he's still working on the hitting part of the game but the kid has an arm - and an accurate one too. i'm keeping my fingers crossed and repeating "quarterback, quarterback, quarterback...."
checking out the competition at the first game.
there are few things cuter in this world than a little boy in a ball cap.
warming up to bat.
concentrate....
it's a hit! you know it's 5-year olds playing - check out the kid in the background...
....and this kid on 3rd base.

ha ha ha! I love your comments at the beginning. YOu Canadians not loving baseball. Jage isn't much of a fan either. I love all of these pics though. Especially the one with the kid in the background on his knees. ha!
T-Ball is a total comedy show! I love it. Kids rolling on the ground, looking through their legs, climbing the fence. Good times I tell ya! But you're right...its totally boring BUT a rite of passage for every American boy!
wicked! dear sister - with the athletic abilities of your children - you will through your life spend countless hours on bleachers. just wish i was there to enjoy it with you. go dylan!
