d-man turns 5

dylan's birthday celebrations were a blast. i really have to give a huge thanks to my in-laws that were here helping with everything - from caring for eli, picking up cakes, baking pizzas, cleaning up...the list goes on and on. thank you!




we had a party on his actual birthday with just family...





and then the big party with friends happened the following week - after the memorial day holiday. we purchased a water slide (that will be so great to have this summer - it's been SO hot already) and the kids had a blast with bubbles, pizza and cake. oh the cake...was awful. seriously, the ugliest cake EVER. the lady and i obviously miscommunicated about it, so we threw as much Star Wars stuff on it as we could. it really defies all description/explanation. but it tasted good!

happy birthday buddy - we are so proud of you! next stop for dylan is kindergarten...we can't wait!
