i'll post.
i'm officially into my 4th month with this pregnancy. 16 1/2 weeks. i can feel the baby moving every now and then. it's weird.
i've moved into the all too important part of each pregnancy of mine - the heartburn. last night it jolted me awake and i could hardly breathe. of course i had just thrown away a mostly full bottle of pepcid that had recently expired. i was almost tempted to go rummage through the trash at 2am. i settled for a nice cocktail of baking soda and water. SICK. but i was able to get back to sleep. unfortunately, the burn remains this morning. i'll manage with the OTC stuff until my next appointment, a week from monday, where i will inevitably get the good prescription stuff that actually manages the burn.
my littles are home from school now for summer break officially. north carolina schools are really starting to get on my nerves. we start later in the summer but get out later in the....well summer. and the rumor is that marissa's district recently approved a 10-minute earlier daily start time for next fall. that means she'd be on the bus at 6:35 am. the last two weeks of school i ended up driving her in the mornings often because those extra 20 minutes seemed so precious. i'm not looking forward to those early, early mornings again.
enough complaints. i'm off to take my littles to the park and buy some more pepcid. happy summer ya'll.

hi love, sorry about the heartburn. i was on pepcid both pregnancies and for me it works like a charm. i hope it gets better and can't wait until you find out what your little one is!
Hey girly, sorry about the heartburn. I get it too, but not as bad as you! I can't believe how early school starts there, that is insane!!! You may want to try Zantac 75 for heartburn. I found it worked quite well and it is an over the counter acid reducer thingy. Hang in there!
