my conversation with MR. D on the way home today:
me: "how was school?"
d: "these are my plans: go to school, play on the playground, eat lunch, play on the playground again, all done."
me: "wow - that's a great day!"
d: "mommy, these are my plans: go home, check on dad, see if he's home, then (pause)....we done."
who knew that 3-year-olds had plans?
