Let's go fly a kite!

Marissa has been asking to buy a kite for several weeks now. We do most of our shopping at Target (cause it's the closest and thankfully the cheapest!) and most big retail chains are fairly specific about when they stock certain items. Well, we'd been asking them nearly every time we went when they would be getting kites in. No kites.

Well, I needed to get some multivitamins so we went to Walgreens and low and behold...Kites! Marissa was so excited. We picked a princess kite (duh) and when we got home, immediately took it to the back yard for a test drive. You know, those little plastic kites can get some serious air! It was so fun - a beautiful day, just enough breeze to put Cinderella, Jasmine and Belle far above the roofline, and very, very happy nearly-four-year-old.

It was hard to get the kite off the ground at first.

Lookin' way up!

Mari did a great job at holding on tight so her princesses didn't fly away permanently.

I love this picture. Marissa's first kite. Too cute.

Easter was fun and we did actually get ONE photo together. We had just arrived home from Church and our neighbor was outside, and agreed to snap a shot of us in our Sunday best. Unfortunately, (and just our luck) after one shot, the battery died. *ugh* Anyway, here it is.

**Just as a side note, Phil is in Phoenix this weekend and the race will air this evening (Saturday nite). My physical therapy appointments are going well - I actually had a headache free day on Thursday! Wonderful...

Hey, love the pics! Looks like she had a blast. What is up with your headaches? Do you get them a lot? What do you do in physical therapy? I'm glad it's helping if it is. :)
