finished...for real

today the inspector came and gave us the certificate of occupancy for the basement.  it's finished!  the day that we thought would never come has arrived and i strangely don't feel the relief i thought i would.  there is still a lot of work to finish to clean the basement and get things "staged" for it to go on the market.

huge kudos to my husband though - he has poured so many hours into the basement....literally his blood, sweat and my tears.  i can't believe we did it!  praying for the perfect buyer to come and snatch this place up.  looking west....
