i am the PROUD sister of a real doctor! yes, my baby brother graduated from medical school. i was so very lucky to fly to arizona to reunite with my family and to celebrate jj's graduation. a lot of people helped to make my trip possible and i'm so thankful that i was able to go. i left the three kids here at home (the big kids still had school for another week) and jetted off to phoenix on june 1st.
my folks were so awesome and rented a house for everyone to stay in. it was beautiful and we spent a lot of time in the yard, swimming in the pool. the girls were able to get a little bit of shopping in and we had a fabulous party at the house with jj's in-laws, the morphys. a definite highlight for me was laughing with my siblings, especially my sister. oh and the food was yummmmmmmmmmmy.
i enjoyed being with my nieces and nephews - i haven't been "just an auntie" in a really long time. nan's boys were so sweet with me, always giving hugs and saying, "i love you auntie angie." i got to spend a lot of time with tom's twins - they're 12 now. i remember when philip and i would visit them as teeny newborns in provo. jj's little girls are so darling and i got my baby fix holding little davidge. *sniff* typing this makes me so sad that we all don't live closer together.
another highlight was celebrating my dad's 60th birthday. his official birthday isn't until the 30th but since all the kids were there, we celebrated anyway. it was so much fun!! we even tried to get a few pictures of the original glenn family...as i go back and look at these pictures i'm laughing so hard my sides hurt. i miss you guys!!
