i love charleston!

at the beginning of the summer i took the kids to the beach with my friend krista, her two boys, her sister tara and her two girls. i just love charleston. we stayed on the isle of palms at the wild dunes resort. we had a three bedroom condo reserved but were upgraded to a 4 bedroom house. it was awesome! lots of space, lots of bathrooms and lots of great food (we did a huge haul at wal-mart on our way in). for the first few days we did half beach/half pool days. it was a lot of work but we got a good system going of hauling our gear back and forth. towards the end we ended up at the pool longer - less clean up, etc. it was gorgeous weather the entire time we were there and just had the best time. i love charleston! have i mentioned that?

dylan learned to body surf and loved it...i had to keep reminding him to look for me every few minutes because he'd be washed up way down the shore in a matter of minutes

eli was not a fan of the beach until the very last day...he spent most of his beach time combing the dunes

 

 

 

we stopped for ice cream on our last night...notice the toddler having a MAJOR meltdown in the stroller, not even ice cream could cure
