2. if you’ve ever had a conversation with dylan you know that he can be difficult to understand sometimes. he’s got a cute lisp but as he’s gotten older it has continued to be a challenge for him to articulate well. we had him evaluated when he was 3 and were told that he would be fine…that he’d grow out of his issues. he’s in kindergarten this year and it seems that some of the issues persist. so we are pursuing further evaluation through the school. it’s taking a long time however, and so i decided to take him to private therapy for further evaluation. he’s not yet 6 – which is kind of a marker insurance companies use, and they said he was really borderline and thought that he might not even qualify for treatment through the school system. that was GREAT news but now the hard work begins at home. we are awaiting a treatment plan and he’ll have to just keep up with the work on his own.
3. both of the big kids had dentist appointments this week. cavity free!! yahoo!
4. i’ve turned into a slave driver. well not exactly but i gave birth to a child who LOVES housework. check out his awesomeness:
such disappointment when it was time to put the vacuum away. hope his gumption for housework is still around when he’s 15!
5. valentine’s day is tomorrow and my baby boy will be 15 months old. february will be half over already! time is passing like crazy. hope your v-day is fun and yummy and stuff!

Cute post! I love Eli's face in all the pics. Mouth wide open! Those cupcakes look so delicious. We had way too much of that around here this past week.
