e memphis j is one!

well the past year has simply FLOWN by. i just don't even know how it happened so quickly, but eli is now a one-year-old. i know i've said this before - just what an easy going, funny baby he is - an absolute joy to be around. i'm lucky to have such a sweet caboose.

we had a little baby party with all of his church pals who are about his age. there were a bunch of babies born around the same time - one in particular named max - was born the day before eli. his mom and i were next door to each other in the hospital. it was so fun to have someone to recover with and they've become good friends of ours. so we decided to have a party for eli and max together. everything was mini - mini muffins, mini juice boxes, mini cream cheese and mini bagels, mini lollipops. too cute!

we also had a family party at home with a delicious cake made by...guess who? krista! she's my go to gal for everything lately it seems. eli got some great gifts this year and has enjoyed them all. here are some photos of the festivities.
