d: i'm in love mom.
me: with who?
d: two girls in my class.
me: TWO?
d: yeah, emma and lilly.
me: how do you know you love them?
d: because they are soooooo pretty.
me: well that's really nice that you like them so much.
d: and i kissed them.
me: what?!!
d: yesterday we were in the block center and no one was looking. we hid under ms. melton's desk and i kissed them on the cheek.
and then we proceeded to have a conversation about keeping our hands AND lips to ourselves. it was pretty cute though.

and this little monkey:
is 10-months old. he's just the sweetest boy and i love him. he's not walking yet, but he's definitely a monkey.
