i have such a feeling of peace tonight. all is well. marissa's baptism was a beautiful event for her and for our family. what a lucky girl she is to have her grandparents all living and there to support her. how lucky we are to have a supportive ward with friends who feel like family.
marissa was strong and happy and confident today. her daddy gave her such a beautiful blessing during her confirmation. i drove home from church tonight feeling gratitude that i married a man worthy to hold the priesthood.
i'll post some photos soon (maybe tuesday - i need to recover tomorrow, i'm exhausted!) and upload the slide show of marissa that we showed at the baptism.
until then...happy mother's day to all my lady friends, mothers or not. you are amazing!

So glad to hear the baptism went well and that the grandparents could all be there. That's wonderful. We're so proud of Marissa. Can't wait to see the pictures. BTW, the treat bags look tasty.=)
