We ordered him his own little birthday cake, since we still have leftovers from Mari's birthday three days before. It was supposed to have blue frosting...keep reading and you'll see why I wish it had. He was so cute - meticulously pinching little bits and pieces of birthday cake, one by one.
Note for next year - NO red frosting. It looks like he performed open cake surgery. Kind of unappetizing that our one year old looked like he was elbow deep in blood. But oh well - he was sweet anyway and we had a lovely time opening his presents for him. He and Marissa both got so many wonderful things for their birthdays. Thank you to all of you who were so thoughtful. They will certainly be busy little kids this summer!

First birthday candle.

The first in a series of messy face photos...

Goin' for the sprinkles...one by one...

Eyeing the pieces of cake we cut to share for the other kids.

A happy cake boy - with a third tooth up top.

He loved the idea of his own cake!

Our sweet boy - larger than life it seems!

Hangin' our in the yard in the stroller with mom.

What a sweet face!

Very cute Ang. He looks so cute!
Looks like you have had fun birthdays! The pictures are so cute. I can't believe Dylan is already 1! I still have his baby picture on my fridge at home. Adorable.
And Marisa's Dora stuff was cute too.
Sorry about the deleted comment... that was me :) I messed up.
